Khowar Anjuman pays tributes to martyred students
CHITRAL, Jan 4: Anjuman Taraqi e Khowar, the representative literary organization of Chitrali people, held a reference in the memory of the martyred children of Army Public School Peshawar. The reference was held at the house of Mehtar Jao Sher Jahan Khan of Denin. A large number of Anjuman members attended the gathering. The reference was presided over by Mehtarjao Faal Ilahi and senior poet Amir Khan Mir was the chief guest. Besides these two, others to speak on this occasion were President Anjuman Taraqi e Khowar Shahazada Tanwirul Mulk, Ex-President Muhammad Yusuf Shahad, Advocate Abdul Wali Khan and Professor Mumtaz Hussain. Speaking on behalf of the Chitrali people, they expressed their resolve to fight all forms of extremism, sectarianism and ignorance, and to make their society a moderate and progressive Islamic one. Latter, a Mushaera was held wherein poets read their verses to commemorate the martyred children.]]>
