ISLAMABAD, Dec 4: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met Prince Karim Aga Khan, the 49th hereditary Imam of the Shia Imami Ismaili sect of Islam, in London on Thursday.
During the meeting, a range of issues pertaining to educational, social and economic development of Pakistan were discussed between the two leaders. Mr Sharif lauded the services of the Aga Khan Development Network in Pakistan and other parts of the world.
He said the Aga Khan through his network was rendering valuable services in the field of education and health sectors, poverty eradication, and socio-economic uplift of the poor.]]>
