I once again contacted DC Chitral Mr. Ameenul Haq with a request to bring the issue in notice of DC Dir upper that transporters still charging extra fares from passengers. IT is humbly requested that kindly take action against chairman RTA Peshawar, DC Dir upper and Lowers as well as Traffic police in this area from Peshawar to Chitral who not played a vital role for giving relief to public. All DCs and DPOs should be directed to strictly check latest fare rates and to take stern action against the transporters. A number of complaints received from general public that police and District administration get their monthly commission from transport mafia and that is why they take no action against them. DC Dir upper shown negligence and he still not issued any fare rate to any Bus stand at Dir upper. Some drivers also complained that some petrol pumps not giving them diesel and petrol on lowest rate as announced by Govt. A positive step in this regard will be highly appreciated.
