ISLAMABAD, Nov 28: Mr Khalid Hussain, general secretary Muslim Students Federation (MSF-N) Peshawar University chapter, met federal minister for planning, development and reforms Ahsan Iqbal and discussed with him different issues related to students and Chitral.
The minister said work on the Lowari tunnel project would be completed during the tenure of the PML-N government. He said Lowari tunnle was among the national projects which would be executed under his own supervision.
The MSF-N leader Also took up the extra fee received from the Chitrali students by the hostel management of Peshawar University. The federal minister assured Mr Hussain that he would personally contact the vice chancellor of the university and resolve the hostel and evening classes issues.
Earlier, Mr Hussain also met other PML-N leaders in Islamabad, including Sidiqul Farooq, and discussed issues being faced by the students. He was assured that the government would take all possible steps to provide facilities to the students especially to those from the far-off areas such as Chitral.
