BOONI, Sept 30: A walk was held here on Monday to create awareness among the citizens about the need to ensure 100 per cent enrollment of children in schools.
The walk, organized by the education department, started from the Govt High School and ended at the main bazaar of the town. A large number of people including teachers, parents and students took part in the walk.
Speaking on the occasion, District Education Officer (DEO) Moinuddin Khattak said that the objective of the education department was to ensure 100 per cent enrollment so that no child remained deprived of the facility of education. He also asked the teachers to play their due role in the promotion of education.
