Chitrali female student tops in BA exam

CHITRAL, Sept 22: Ms Shagufta Sarwar, daughter of Hakim Sarwar, from Chitral, has secured first position in the BA annual examination 2014 held by the Benazir Bhutto University, says a press release.

Shagufta Sarwar is the student of Government Frontier College for Women, Peshawar. She obtained 386 marks in the exam. The results announcement took place at a ceremony held at the Benazir Bhutto Women University, City Campus, Peshawar.

The chief guest of the ceremony was Vice Chancellor Dr Razia Sultana and 15 colleges’ principals were also present. Certificates and prizes were distributed among the top position holders.

During the 2014 examinations, as many as 6,603 students appeared from 15 colleges affiliated with the university.
