Social accountability network launched

CHITRAL, June 25: A non-governmental organization, Social Accountability Network (SAN), has been established in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the aim to accelerate the theme of social accountability. The organization is currently working without any donor. However, its liaison with government departments is in good condition regarding awareness campaign over the Right to Information act in KP. RTI has been legislated by provincial assembly to make sure the people could access information regarding any matter of public interest and service. SAN-KP would ensure community participation in different process and will also work with departments and organizations to improve their services. Kamal Abdul Jamil has been appointed as District Coordinator of Social Accountability Network (SAN-KP) for Chitral.  ]]>
