CM approves Rs40 million for rehabilitation projects in Chitral
CHITRAL, May 3: The chief minister KP has approved 40 million rupees for different developmental and rehabilitation projects in Chitral which would be spent through the PTI lady MPA. Talking to ChitralToday, MPA Bibi Fozia said the additional two million rupees were approved for the repair of Kalash cultural buildings. The special fund included 10 million rupees for the provision of clean drinking water, 10 million for the construction and rehabilitation of flood protection walls, 10 million for rehabilitation of flood damaged schools and 10 million for other projects, including special projects for women development. The MPA said she had promised the people of Orghoch to provide them clean drinking water and now it would be materialized through the Public Health Engineering Department. She said that some villages of UC Chitral-II were facing water scarcity and now this issue would also be resolved. Ms Fozia said that the provincial government had approved funds for the establishment of a Youth Center and construction of sports stadium in Chitral.—K.A. Jamil]]>
