Experts say repair work on Shishi powerhouse satisfactory

DROSH, March 8: Technical experts of Golen Gol Hydel Project visited the Shishi Powerhouse at Drosh to check the ongoing repair and maintenance work.

The experts included Golen Gol Project Director Khan Muhammad, Project Manager Mr. Lee and Project Consultant Mr. Recordo Croshete. Additional Assistant Commissioner Drosh Basharat Ahmed was also present during the visit.

The visit of this high-level technical team was made on the request of Deputy Commissioner Chitral. The experts checked the ongoing work and termed it satisfactory. They agreed to again visit the site during the RCC work. They opined that there was no flaw in the repair work.

It is pertinent that some circles had pointed out different flaws during the repair work and Deputy Commissioner Chitral had decided to find the facts. The remarks by this high level technical team have removed the allegations of some circles.–Kamal Abdul Jamil
