New collection of Khowar poetry launched

CHITRAL, Oct 19: Speakers at the launching ceremony of a book here lauded the efforts of Khowar poets and other literary persons for their efforts to promote the language.

They were speaking at the launching of Nuqta-e-Nigah, the poetic collection of former principal and Khowar poet Maula Nigah Nigah.

Besides the port, those who expressed their opinion on the occasion included MNA Iftikharuddin, Gul Murad Hssrat, Abdul Wali Khan, Amir Khan Mir and Javed Hayat. They said Mr Nigah has covered all aspects of the social life and worked hard to reform the thoughts of his readers.
