Another dengue patient arrives in Chitral
CHITRAL, Oct 5: The proximity of Chitral to the dengue fever-hit Swat district has jeopardized the people here as the second patient of dengue was admitted to the DHQ hospital here on Saturday. Medical Superintendent of DHQ hospital Dr. Noorul Islam said Rahmat Wali, a resident of Mastuj, and an employee of Frontier Constabulary had arrived here two days ago from Mingora where he was posted. He said that the patient was admitted to the hospital for treatment of fever but he was found positive for dengue virus and admitted to the isolation ward of the hospital reserved for the dengue fever patients. He said that the patient was at preliminary stage of the disease and may be discharged in a few days after recovery. The first ever patient of dengue fever, Shehla Naz of Mroi village admitted to the hospital was discharged on Friday when she lost all the symptoms of the disease and incidentally she had also traveled from the Mingora city.--Zahiruddin ]]>
