Water supply to Booni Gol, Rayeen restored

CHITRAL, Sept 15: The water supply lines of the flood-hit areas of Booni Gol and Rayeen in Torkhow were restored as a result of which the locals are getting clean drinking water. In a press release issued from the office of the deputy commissioner Chitral, it was stated that the consumption of contaminated water in the flood-affected areas had created health problems for the locals. The tehsil administration of Mastuj was entrusted with the job of restoring the water supply schemes of the two major villages. Itw as also provided with pipes to repair the ones damaged by the floods. In the meanwhile, the flood-affected road from Mastuj to Kargin has also been restored for all kinds of vehicular traffic.–Zahiruddin]]>
