Gunman attacks motorcyclist

CHITRAL, Sept 9: A motorcyclist was injured when he was fired upon by a man in upper Chitral. According to the SHO police station Torkhow, Mohammad Razaq, son of Sher Gulab of Torkhow, was going home on a motorcycle when he was attacked near Qaqlasht by a man holding a pistol who was following him. As a result, he received several bullet injuries to his leg and hand. The police later arrested the accused, Shakirullah of Shotkhar and lodged an FIR against him under section 324 of Pakistan Penal Code (attempted to murder).—GH Farooqui]]>
