Election commission also rejects PPP candidate's plea
ISLAMABAD, May 23: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Thursday dismissed PPP candidate from PK-90, Sardar Hussain’s application for recounting of votes. The ECP told the losing PPP candidate that his application had already been rejected by the election officials in Chitral and his further insistence had wasted the time of the ECP. Sardar Hussain lost to APML’s Ghulam Mohamad by seven votes and was demanding recounting of votes in about eight polling stations. ]]>
The PPP is the most unfortunate party. The people who once enjoyed parliamentary seats as an MPA and MNA are now acting against this poor party. I mean former MNA Ghafur Shahs’ family, especially his son(Jawad), who even started an anti-party campaign after being denied ticket for the electons. It was really a sad moment for the common people to digest these people who put their names in the good track due to this orphan party.
