New record in turnout and rejected votes

CHITRAL, May 13: As much as 63 per cent turnout was recorded in the May 11 elections in Chitral. However, the number of rejected votes was also a record high. voteAs per information gathered from the offices of the returning officers of one national assembly (NA-32) and two provincial assembly (PK-89 and 90) constituencies, out of the total 206,910 registered voters, as many as 131,520 cast their votes raising the turnout rate to 63.56 percent.
