They said addressing a public gathering in Peshawar Nawaz Sharif had promised that Chitral will be promoted if his party formed the next government. They said those who were creating the propaganda that Nawaz Sharif did not like Chitral should realize that the PML-N chief was sincere in changing the fate of the backward valley. They expressed their great concern over the APML Chitral candidates’ insistence on contesting the elections despite the fact that their central leadership had decided to boycott the polls. They said that a female advocate from Murree was called to Chitral to present her as a special envoy of Pervez Musharraf and the APML candidates wanted to mislead the Chitrali people by claiming that Musharraf had allowed them to take part in the elections.—GH Farooqui ]]>
