Ballot papers reach Chitral
CHITRAL, May 3: Ballot papers for the forthcoming general elections reached here in a military helicopter from Rawalpindi on Friday.
Wiqat Ahmad Malik, the district election commissioner Chitral, told chitraltoday.net that he along with the civil judge of Drosh brought the ballot papers in the army helicopter from Rawalpindi. These ballot papers were received by another judge in Chitral on behalf of the district returning officer Syed Zamarud Shah, the district sessions judge. The ballot papers were taken by the district returning officer along with election commission Chitral officials in a strict security under the police and Chitral Scouts personnel to the office of the RO.
