GB leaders sleep well in Islamabad
GILGIT, Feb 23: The Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly session summoned two months back was postponed third time recently as all the political leadership continued enjoying the winter season in Islamabad. Chief Minister Syed Mehdi Shah, Governor Syed Pir Karam Ali Shah, Speaker Wazir Baig, Deputy Speaker Jamil Ahmed and all ministers and members have left the region at least a month before for Islamabad. The people who approach their offices are suffering greatly and all public problems remained unsolved due to their willful absence from the region. “I am coming here for the last three weeks and the office of minister works is closed as not only minister but also the officials” Mian Tufail, a resident of Chilas said. Similar complaints were received about other ministers as the harsh winter season is spent in Islamabad by ministers and their bosses.]]>
