Ex-councillor criticizes Saleem Khan & Abdul Akbar

CHITRAL, Jan 4: A former councilor from Garam Chashma, Mohammad Hussain, has said the valley had been neglected by both the incumbent government of the PPP and the former government of MMA. Addressing a press conference here on Friday, he said although the provincial minister Saleem Khan belonged to the valley but he failed miserably to solve the issues of the area people which can be gauged from the fact that the road leading to the valley was still in a dilapidated condition. He said that the minister only succeeded in giving employment to his near and dear ones and doled out the contracts of petty development works to a few workers of his party. The common man of the valley feels highly dejected of him. Mr. Hussain also came hard on former MNA Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali who, according to him, did not spend a penny in the valley but now is claiming to provide all the basic rights to the people of Chitral. He said that there is complete peace and harmony between different sects in the valley and the political leaders should not disturb the tranquillity by their irresponsible statements.–Zahirruddin]]>
