PESHAWAR, Dec 1: A large number of people from Chitral here on Saturday protested against the closure of Lowari Tunnel. The protesters asked teh authorities concerned to keep the under-constriction tunnel open daily from 4pm to 8pm to facilitate the people in freely travelling to and from other parts of teh country. The protesters were holding banners and placards inscribed with their demands. They were shouting slogans against the National Highway Authority (NHA). The protesters were led by former MNA and Jamaat-i-Islami leader Abdul Akbar Chitrali, Maulana Khalil Ahmed, Mohibullah Advocate and Asmatullah.]]>
