PM urged to visit Chitral
CHITRAL, Oct 30: An office-bearer of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chitral has urged Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf to visit Chitral and announce a development package for the area. In a press release, Iqbal Hayat, the information and coordination secretary of the PPP Chitral, said no prime minister or president had visited the district during the last four and half years and this can harm the party in the forthcoming elections. He claimed that all the major development works in the district were initiated by PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto which included the Lowari tunnel, Chitral hydropower station and the network of roads in the valley.–Zahiruddin]]>
