Poor boy loses fight against cancer

CHITRAL, May 22: The little poor boy suffering from cancer has lost her struggle against the deadly disease mainly because his parents had discontinued treatment due to lack of resources. [caption id="attachment_2033" align="alignleft" width="150" caption="Gone too soon"][/caption] The nine-year-old Muzamil, son of Gul Badshah of Chitral Bazaar, had been under treatment for the last about eight months till their parents recently brought him back from Peshawar after being unable to continue with the treatment . Talking to this correspondent, his mother said: “We had appealed to the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan as well as the chief minister of KPK and all philanthropists to help us and provide free treatment to our son but nobody responded to us and my son died last night.” She appealed to all humanity-loving people to help such helpless patients whose parents cannot afford their costly treatment.–G.H. 1. Well done Chitraltoday.net. I really appreciate your contribution for the sack of human being. As you had uploaded first of all the SOS call (appeal for treatment) of the small boy Muzamil but unfortunately our society is so senseless and merciless that never pays attention on such appeal. We must spare some part of our income, which we waste unnecessary, for such poor patients but once again sorry to say that we have lost our tradition, sympathy and have no spirit to support helpless and oppressed people on humanitarian grounds.
