Brep wins cricket tournament

Report Waqar Ahmad MASTUJ, May 17:  The cricket team of Global School and College System Brep won the Tehsil Jashn-e-Baharan Cup Cricket Tournament at Chapari, Mastuj. A total of 28 teams from across Tehsil Mastuj participated in the tournament. The final was played between the teams of Global School and College System and Yaran Cricket Club Chinar. After winning the toss, Brep decided to bat first and scored 114 runs in the allotted 15 over. Chasing the target, Yaran Cricket Club managed to score 106 runs for the loss of nine wickets and Brep cricket team won the final by five runs. Notable social activist Aziz Nawaz Lal was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed prizes among the players and announced Rs10,000 cash prize for the winner team. A large number of people from the nearby areas also attended the event. A musical gathering was also held on the occasion and the winning team was taken to their area in a big process.
