ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has constituted a seven-member committee to suggest austerity measures in the government departments. The seven-member committee headed by deputy chairman Planning Division has been directed to submit its report in a week. The committee will suggest reforms in government departments such as cutting pension and PSDP expenditures.
MULTAN: A residential building collapsed in the old city area of Multan in Punjab at about 4am on Tuesday, killing at least nine and injuring two other people. The dead included five siblings and their parents. The incident occured at Sehri time after a gas leakage blast that resulted in the collapse of the building.
