Chitral, Jan 21, 2026: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) District President and Member of KP Provincial Assembly Fatehul Mulk Ali Nasir formally launched a street movement from Ayun, demanding the immediate release of PTI founder Imran Khan, along with Abdul Latif and other party leaders.
In a statement on social media, the MPA said that the protest marked a bold and determined beginning to a district-level political campaign, as a large number of party workers, activists and supporters participated with visible enthusiasm and discipline.
The entire atmosphere reverberated with passionate slogans of “Imran Khan Zindabad,” reflecting strong public sentiment, political awareness, and unwavering loyalty to the party leadership.
Addressing the gathering, party leaders and workers reiterated their firm commitment to a peaceful, constitutional, and democratic struggle for justice, supremacy of law, and what they described as true freedom.
They said that the movement aims to protect democratic values and fundamental rights of the people.
The participants collectively pledged that the movement would continue to expand and intensify across streets, chowks, villages and communities of the district until the release of their leader and other detained party members is secured.
It may be mentioned here that the PTI under the leadership of Chief Minister Khyber Pakthunkhwa Sohail Afridi has launched the street movement in the province on the direction of the jailed party founder and former prime minister Imran Khan.
