BOONI, Jan 14, 2026: The ice hockey championship concluded with excitement in the Harchin village of the Laspur Valley of Upper Chitral district.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Secretary Muhammad Asif was the chief guest at the final event of the championship.
The final ice hockey match witnessed a remarkable and spirited performance by the players, earning tremendous applause from the audience.
During the event, local elders demanded the construction of a sports ground in the Laspur area.
In response, the secretary for Youth Affairs and Sports assured that special measures would be taken. He advised the DC of Upper Chitral to identify a suitable government-owned site for the sports ground and submit a formal proposal.
