RAWALPINDI: Renowned businessman and philanthropist Sultan Wali, CEO owner of Chitral Associates Pvt Lt., passed away on Friday.
He was widely respected for his efforts to help thousands of Chitralis settle and build their own homes at Chitral Town and other areas in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Born in the remote Yarkhun Lasht area of Chitral, Sultan Wali rose to prominence through his honesty, hard work and vision. His housing project provided affordable plots and housing solutions to people from Chitral, enabling entire families to establish new lives in the twin cities.
Friends, family and the wider Chitrali community have expressed deep sorrow at his passing, describing him as a kind-hearted and generous leader who always prioritized the welfare of his people.
His funeral will be held at H-8 graveyard in Islamabad at 9:30pm on Saturday followed by burial at Chitral Town.
