CHITRAL, Aug 30: PTI reserved seat MPA from Chitral Fauzia Bibi has said the vision of her party was to introduce a uniform education system. Speaking at concluding session of B.Ed students’ tutorial workshop of Allama Iqbal Open University here on Friday, she claimed that the provincial government had made all preparations to introduce the uniform education system from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She said that access to quality education was the basic right of all without any discrimination and the change in this regard will be felt within a short span of one year. She hailed the contribution of AIOU in the advancement of higher education in the district where majority of the people could afford to send their children for education to universities. On this occasion, assistant regional director of the university, Rafiullah Khan, said that thousands of students, with majority of females, had passed out from the university in Chitral region since 1987. He said that presently 84 percent of the students of the university were female in the district.
