BOONI: The district administration removed illegal encroachments from Booni Bazar as part of an ongoing campaign to reclaim government land and keep public spaces clear.
Acting on the directives of Upper Chitral Deputy Commissioner Arshad Khan, the administration carried out an operation and cleared government land of encroachments.
The district administration in a statement said enforcement actions against unauthorised occupation of state land would continue and that further operations would be conducted to prevent renewed encroachments.
It also directed the individuals concerned to refrain from illegally occupying government land and urged them to cooperate with the administration.
