Peshawar, April 24, 2026: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has decided to change its uniform design under new regulations aimed at standardising appearance across the province.
According to official documents, Inspector General of Police KP has issued orders for the implementation of Police Uniform Regulations 2026, under which the colour, design, badges, shoes, and caps will be made uniform across all districts.
The documents state that the uniform of police personnel in merged districts will also be aligned with that of other regions.
The new uniform rules will come into effect from July 1, 2026.
