Chitral, March 18, 2026: Police in Lower Chitral have intensified operations against individuals involved in the illegal narcotics trade.
During a checkpoint operation, a vehicle (registration No. AC-5934) coming from Rumbur was intercepted and searched.
Police recovered 19.5 liters of locally brewed liquor from the trunk of the vehicle.
Two suspects were arrested on the spot. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
Police reiterated their commitment to eliminating drug-related activities and ensuring a drug-free environment in the area.
