Booni, Dec 19, 2025: The Mastuj circle has a new subdivisional police officer (SDPO) as DSP Akbar Shah officially assumed charge of his post.
DSP Akbar Shah has previously served as SDPO Torkhow/Mulkhow and has held several important postings throughout his career. After his promotion to the rank of inspector, he was appointed as SHO in Buner Swat. Later, he was transferred to Upper Chitral and posted as the incharge of investigation at the police station Booni, where he demonstrated exceptional professional skills.
He later served as the incharge of investigation in Lower Dir for nearly six years, gaining extensive experience in the field. Following his promotion to DSP, he was posted to CCPO Peshawar as the DSP investigation.
Recently, Shah has been assigned to Upper Chitral and appointed SDPO Mastuj. With his experience and professional expertise, he is expected to enhance public service in the area, said a statement issued by the Upper Chitral police.
