Parwak, Upper Chitral – August 5: Residents of Parwak gave Tayaba Rehmat received a hero’s welcome when she returned from Dubai after winning a gold medal at the Global Encounter Festival.
Dozens of locals, including community elders, youth, and sports enthusiasts, lined the roadside and presented her with flower garlands and banners to celebrate her historic achievement.
Tayaba thanked the crowd for the warm reception and credited her success to relentless hard work, unwavering dedication, and the prayers of her family and community.
Local leaders praised her as an inspiration for young women across Chitral and urged parents to encourage their daughters to pursue sports and other fields where talent can shine on the national and international stage.
