Public vows to continue Lotkoh road movement
KARIMABAD: The third important meeting of Tehreek-e-Lotkoh was held today in Karimabad, attended by a large number of local leaders and citizens from different areas of Lotkoh Valley.
The primary agenda was to formulate an effective strategy for the urgent restoration of the deteriorating Garam Chashma Road.
Speaking at the event, the patron of the movement stated that Garam Chashma Road had been in a state of ruin for decades, and its reconstruction was crucial for the development of all areas of Lotkoh Valley. He emphasized that although the government had the resources to solve the problem, it required a collective public voice to compel action.
President of the movement Nusrat Elahi stressed that the movement represents no political ideology but is solely focused on securing basic rights and facilities for the people. He added that the people must overcome regional divisions and unite to benefit from their natural resources.
Former Nazim Muhammad Yaqoob, Chairman Karim, Chairman Nowroz, Chairman Sarfaraz, General Secretary Alauddin Haidari, Advocate Shireen Khan and other speakers expressed their full support for the movement’s goals. They pointed out that access to proper roads was fundamental for development, and the reconstruction of Garam Chashma Road was vital for the entire region.
The speakers urged the participants to raise their voices at every forum to claim their rights and emphasized the need for consistent hard work for the success of the movement. The gathering concluded with all participants pledging full cooperation for the success of Tehreek-e-Lotkoh.
