CHITRAL: The landsliding from mountain that started at Lawak in Bokhtuli village of Garam Chashma early on Thursday continued with intervals blocking the only road to the valley, with the district administration warning commuters to avoid travel on the road.
In a statement, the DC office said machinery of NHA was on a standby while line departments were on alert to remove the debris from the road once the landsliding stops.
However, due to continuous sliding of rocks and boulders, clearance operation was facing difficulties. The general public and travellers were requested to avoid unnecessary travel on the road.
