MALAKAND: At least five people lost their lives when a car crashed into a canal in Malakand on Thursday, police and rescue officials said.
According to the officials, the five persons died in the accident in the refugee camp of Khatku Shah in the Malakand district.
Rescue officials said the car and the bodies of five people had been pulled out of the canal. The bodies have been shifted to the mortuary of the District Headquarters Hospital.
The dead included two women, two men and a child.
