BOONI: The revised PC-1 of Govt Higher Secondary School in Nishku has been approved by the government of Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
The Planning and Development Department approved the revised PC-1 thanks to efforts made by Deputy Speaker KP Assembly and MPA from Upper Chitral Suriya Bibi, according to a statement issued by PTI Upper Chitral.
The construction of the building was left incomplete due to lack of funds after cost escalation and during the visit of education minister to the area last month the MPA requested him for approval of the revised PC-1 to restart work on the project.
The education minister got the revised PC-1 approved from the Planning and Development Department on priority basis.
The government has also ordered restart of work on the project and it\’s expected that the school will be ready by June 2026 to cater to students of Terich union council and Mulkhow.
