Snowfall in Lowari, nearby areas

CHITRAL: Lowari and nearby areas received snowfall on Sunday afternoon; however, traffic continued on the Chitral-Dir road through the Lowari tunnel.

The Lower Chitral police in a statement said that traffic on the road was not affected but the snowfall continued. It said that passengers should take precautionary steps and avoid travelling at night time.

It said that on the direction of DPO, police personnel were assisting travelers and on the road and providing them information. The commuters should get an update about all roads before starting any travel, the police said.
