Two children die, 14 passengers injured in accident

BREP: A passenger Land Cruiser going to Yarkhun Lasht from Chitral met with an accident at Palmothing near Brep on Saturday night.

As a result, two children, a woman from Ucho Hon and Sher Nadir, the driver of the vehicle from Chitisar, lost their lives while 12 passengers were injured.

The injured were brought to the Basic Health Unit (BHU) of Brep, and later six of them were shifted to Booni and Mastuj.

The taxi carrying about 18 passengers was going to Yarkhun Lasht when it fell off the narrow and dilapidated road into the riverbed. there was heavy rainfall in the area at the time.

The two children aged between eight and 10 years died on the spot. However, they could not be identified.
