Futsal tournament concludes in Charun
CHARUN (PR): Young soccer players from Reshun, Zait, Kuragh, Charun, Junalikoch, Booni, Kosht and Charun Owir participated in a round of futsal matches held in Charun.
The tournament had started on May 21 and concluded on July 10. As many as 40 teams participated in the event.
As the facility jam-packed, the final match was played between BnB Football Team and Qazi Football Club in which the former outclassed the latter in thrilling rounds with two scores against one.
Muhamad Rasool earned the title of man of the match, Tanzeel emerging soccer player, Wajahat role of the event, model of teams wahaj and team, and Tanveer the best goal keeper.
PTI leader Rehmat Ghazi was chief guest of the event. Village Council Chairman Charun Inayatullah along elders of the area also participated in the event.
Addressing the young soccer players and sports enthusiasts, the chief guest said that people of Charun were natural footballers.
“You have given more importance to football but the time has come to give more importance to education. I don’t mean to give no importance to games but keep playing with your education,” he remarked.
VC chairman Inayatullah said that young people should take part in this sport facility for both exercise and excelling in games but education of children shouldn’t affect.
Shields and trophies were distributed among players, runner-up and winner teams at the concluding ceremony.
