CHITRAL: The residents of Gobor in Garam Chashma valley of Lower Chitral are still cut off as the road to the remote area blocked by snowfall couldn\’t be reopened even after two weeks.
The residents are reportedly facing shortage of essential food items and there is no healthcare facility to treat patients.
However, the district administration of Lower Chitral said machinery and staff were working to clear the snow and open the road.
Local people criticized the government departments and elected representatives for their apathy towards the suffering of the stranded people caused by their inaction to reopen the road.
