Nine injured in traffic accident

CHITRAL: At least nine people were injured in a traffic accident at Ashiret on Saturday.

According to Rescue 1122, a group of people from Damel village had gone to Lowari tunnel to receive their relatives returning from Saudi Arabia after preforming Umra. 

While returning home, a vehicle carrying the nine people met with the accident due to a brake failure. The vehicle fell into a nearby ravine.

Rescue 1122 staff after being alerted reached the spot and provided emergency medical assistance to the injured and later shifted them to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Drosh. 

According to doctors, the condition of all the injured was out of danger.
