CHITRAL: Torrential rain on Wednesday triggered flooding in streams in various parts of Lower Chitral.
The flooding in nullahs, especially at Baradam, blocked the road to Chitral for several hours.
A large number of people returning home to celebrate Eidul Azha from different parts of the country remained stuck in the affected areas.
The office of the deputy commissioner stated that the Chitral Levies and police helped the stranded passengers in crossing the streams after the rain stopped.
