CHITRAL: A young man fell into the Chitral river while crossing it on a chairlift in front of Denin on Wednesday afternoon.
Local sources claimed that the youth committed suicide by jumping into the river from the chairlift at about 1:30pm.
Rescue 1122 in a statement said after being alerted a dead body at Noghorgi, its staff reached the spot and shifted it to the District Headquarters Hospital.
The deceased was later identified as Omar, son of Fazal Mabood of Kari.–GH Farooqui
