Police official dies in accident

CHITRAL: A head constable of Chitral police died in a road traffic accident while coming to the town from Ayun, the office of the DPO Lower Chitral said.

It said Elite Force head constable Nasir Ahmed, son of Ghulam Hazrat, of Khorkashandeh, was posted to the Ayun police station. He was coming to Chitral to draw salary when he met with the accident at Jutilasht. 

The funeral of the official was held at the Police Lines after which the body was shifted to his village for burial.
