Rescue 1122 service inaugurated in Mastuj

MASTUJ: Rescue 1122 service was inaugurated in Mastuj by Deputy Commissioner Upper Chitral Manzoor Ahmed Afridi on Wednesday.

According to a statement issued by the district administration, with the launch of the Rescue 1222 in Mastuj, the availability of modern machinery and staff will be available to deal with any emergency situation in the area.

Because of its remoteness and being prone to natural calamities, the need for Rescue 1122 was being felt in Mastuj tehsil for long. It is hoped that the service will help the local populace in coping with any emergency situation.

The opening ceremony of the service was also attended by Additional Assistant Commissioner Mastuj Muhammad Ali, district emergency officer Amjad Khan along with a large number of local people.
