Chitral, GB business & cultural event in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A four-day Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan Business and Cultural Event 2022 commenced at the Sports Complex Islamabad on Thursday.

The event has been organized by Qashqar Tourism to enhance cultural and business cooperation between Chitral & Gilgit-Baltistan.

Parliamentary Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan Ghulam Muhammad, special assistance to CM KP Wazirzada and senior PTI Chitral leader Abdul Latif were chief guests on the occasion.

The event includes a football tournament, business and cultural seminars, musical show and traditional foods and handicrafts stalls.

As many as 24 teams from across Pakistan are participating in the event.

The speakers on the occasion applauded the effort of the organizers to arrange the event for the youth snd families of Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan residing in the twin cities.

The concluding ceremony of the event will be held on February 27.
