Work on construction of road inaugurated

CHITRAL: MNA Molana Abdul Akber Chitrali inaugurated work on the construction of a road from Birmoghjal to Jinjiret on Tuesday.

Funds amounting to over Rs6.8 million have been provided for the one km road project by the federal government.

Speaking on the occasion, the MNA said the federal government was not providing development funds to 163  opposition members of the National Assembly. As a result, he moved the high court after which the government released the first instalment of Rs100 million to him.

The MNA said a committee has been formed which will ensure the funds are used transparently on the construction of the road.–Bashir Hussain Azad
