Three killed over land dispute in Ashiret

DROSH: Three persons have been killed over an old land dispute in Ashiret, Lower Chitral.

The deceased have been  identified as Iqbal, Tariq and Sher Azam, residents of Patu Dam, Ashiret.

Hashim, son of Ajab Khan, and Aidees, residents of Kotga, have been nominated as the alleged killers by relatives of the deceased. 

The deceased had killed a man belonging to their rivals over a year ago. Today they were coming to Drosh for the hearing of the case in a court when their rivals opened fire on them.

The dead bodies have been brought to the THQ hospital Drosh for postmortem.

Police have registered a murder case against the nominated persons and launched an investigation.–Kamal A. Jamil
