THQ hospital’s lady doctor transferred out of Chitral

PESHAWAR: A lady doctor working at the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Drosh has been posted out of Chitral.

According to a notification issued by the health department dated Feb 19, 2021, Dr Farah Javed (BPS-17) has been transferred from the THQ hospital Drosh to Haripur district.

In her place, Dr Laraib, who was working at the BHU Shoghore, has been posted to the THQ hospital, Drosh.

Government hospitals in both Lower and Upper Chitral have been facing shortage of doctors, especially female doctors, for years leading to lots of hardship for patients.

Whenever the health department posts doctors to Chitral they manage to get themselves transferred out of the area.
